If You Want To Move Forward In LIfe, Do This

So, you don’t know what you want. You know you’re not 100% happy or confident with where you’re at right now, you know you want that to change, you just don’t know where to take this desire to change. Instead of a fork in a road presenting you with two different routes, you find yourself at a point in the road with endless options. That scenario sounds overwhelming and impossible to figure out. So this is where I say we start.

I say we start with a list. You can google categories of life or take my list below but start here. Start with a list. In each category just define it as simply as you can. Don’t overthink it, don’t overwork it.

  • Personally

  • Relationally

  • Professionally

  • Financially

  • Physically

  • Mentally

  • Spiritually

  • Emotionally

In each category, what do you want? I’m not going to provide any more questions or instructions beyond asking, what do you want? Interpret that how you want and go with that where you want.

It can be just one thing. One sentence. I want you to physically write it down and then sit on that for 24 hours. If that one thing you wrote down still rings true to who you are after sitting on it, then move forward to making a plan. What are the practical steps you want, could, should, or need to take to begin to move in that direction.

One step at a time. Take it slow, take it intentionally, and revisit your goals and plans regularly.
