Tell Me About That

This one simple question, well I guess it’s more of a sentence, has changed my life. And no, I’m not exaggerating.

I started using this to build my curiosity and connection with my close friends a few years ago and it’s made my relationships more meaningful. And now it’s so ingrained in me that it just naturally comes out in conversations with everyone.

The way to become an expert in anything is through practice, practice, practice. And I think many of us have gotten out of the practice of finding the deep end in our relationships. And as is much of life, it all ebbs and flows. We have seasons of seeking intentionality, being on top of our self-improvement game, and just crushing it at life. And as seasons change we slip into seasons of feeling overwhelmed, exhausted from the hustle, and too tired to push through and make that effort. I get it.

That’s why I wanted to create Tell Me About That. A card game designed to build your curiosity with the people you love. It takes out the guesswork, that first hurdle of inertia. We’ve put together the questions to ask and given you the tool to say “hey, tell me more about that answer.”

Tell Me About That exists to take the uncertainty out of curiosity and be the catalyst for deeper relationships. This game helps you get in the practice of being more intentional with the people you care about and can be the spark of connection we’re looking for to keep growing together. My hope is that Tell Me About That becomes ingrained in your vocabulary too. That you find depth, meaning, and space with the people you love that you haven’t experienced before.

When you don’t know what to say, how to continue the conversation, what to ask next, ask: Tell me about that.
