How to Eliminate Doubt and Build Conviction

The purpose of my first book.

Something I stress often in all that I do is that I will not tell you anything you do not already know to be accurate about yourself. The confidence you build comes from the convictions that are already true to you. My goal is to help you clear away the doubt and the lies that have overshadowed your convictions for too long.

The stories that replay in our heads cloud our values. That’s why it’s so important to identify every story you tell yourself, someone has told to you, and get to the root of the doubt so that you can no longer that story be a the foundation of who you are and let your conviction be your foundation.

I’ve found the best way to hold space for the stories that are told to us AND remove the doubt or lie to build conviction is through a Truth Map. Which is just a fancy title for a way to write down everything. I’ve found it’s easier to see what hasn’t been serving you and see what is true about you when it’s written down all in one place. The Truth Map that’s in the last few chapters of my book Be Confident has you write down a story told to you, the lie you believed from that story, the doubt that grew because of the lie, and the conviction that was overshadowed by that story.

I’ve recently become a big believer in writing everything down. So I think it’s so important to create your Truth Map and have a way of reminding yourself of what’s true often. Whether that’s just a picture of it on your phone, taping it to your mirror, or placing it on your desk it’s important to be reminded of your convictions.

I want you to discover the confidence that is already true to you. I want you to get rid of the lies and the doubt. I want you to experience what it’s like to firmly stand in. your convictions. I think you deserve that.
